Expree Scholarship 2026
Hey High School Seniors! It’s time to start thinking about college.
Expree Credit Union believes education opens doors. That’s why we’re proud to offer a 2026 Scholarship Program for high school seniors in our community. One student will receive up to $2,500 toward higher education, awarded throughout their program. This scholarship is available for two-year and four-year programs. Scholarships are paid $500 per year, plus a $500 graduation bonus. Expree Credit Union is excited to support students as they invest in their future.
Eligibility
The Expree Credit Union Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Franklin County, as well as other seniors who are members of Expree Credit Union or related to a member. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school full-time in Fall 2026, including two-year programs, and have a minimum GPA of 2.7. The recipient must agree to a presentation photo for scholarship promotion. Immediate family members of Expree Credit Union staff or volunteers are not eligible. Membership is not required, but members receive additional points during review.
Selection
Applications will be reviewed by an impartial committee and will be scored on leadership, community involvement, and thoughtful essay responses that reflect character, commitment, and future goals. Selection is made without regard to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, national origin, or disability. The selected student will be notified before the end of the school year. To receive each annual scholarship installment, the recipient must contact Expree Credit Union prior to the start of each school year to verify enrollment. Proof of graduation is required to receive the final installment. All decisions are final.

Anyone interested in applying for the Expree Credit Union scholarship must submit the application and required documents no later than 5:00 PM, March 20, 2026.
