Same-Day Payments Begin Tomorrow

Expree is always working to comply with improvements and modernizations of the U.S. payments system, which is why over the last year you may have already noticed a change in the times during the day we apply ACH deposits to your account. This change was made to help provide you with faster access to funds for same-day ACH deposits to your account. Beginning Friday, September 15, 2017, we will also change the times that we apply certain electronic ACH debit payments to your account.

This feature may allow you to make same-day payments. What does this mean? Many merchants and billing companies offer you the option to make a same-day electronic payment, such as to pay a bill or transfer funds. If you agree to this transaction, the funds might be debited from your account the same day. For example, if you have a bill due on the 25th of the month, the billing company might allow you to make an electronic payment the morning of the 25th to make an on-time payment, and the funds debited from your account on the 25th. These Same-Day Payments enables you to better avoid late payments.

Be aware that if a merchant or biller debits your account upon your authorization for same day or “as quickly as possible” payment, you should always have sufficient funds in your account to cover payments you authorize or initiate.
